STRATFORD UPON AVON



The picturesque riverside town of Stratford upon Avon is the home of William Shakespeare.  Stratford has a wealth of beautifully preserved Shakespearean houses, including his Birthplace, it offers a unique insight into the life and times of the worlds greatest poet and dramatist.

Visit his grave at Holy Trinity Church which rest along the banks of the River Avon, you can walk along to Bancroft Gardens, where the river meets the canal, there are barges and rowing boats, or take a river cruise to further explore the sights. 

The town has a great range of quality shops and restaurants, its arts and culture surround you, there is so much to enjoy in Stratford Upon Avon, which makes it a ideal choice for a short or long holiday.

KENILWORTH
Kenilworth Castle, one of the grandest and most romantic ruined castles in the country. Once home to the favourite of Queen Elizabeth I, Robert Dudley Earl of Leicester, and now maintained by English Heritage.
WARWICK

 

Britain's greatest Medieval Castle lies just a short walk from the town centre.  This historic Market Town was devastated by the great fire in 1694.  Today Warwick offers its visitor year round enjoyment, with its racecourse, thee museums, festivals, concert events, unique shops and restaurants.

LEAMINGTON SPA

The town of Leamington Spa, originally known as Leamington Priors, was a tiny village until about1800.  The value of the mineral springs was known in the middle ages, but it was not until 1784 that the small village began rediscovering its saline springs and started building baths around some of them.

Today Leamington Spa is an elegant regency town, with an excellent ranger of shops,  with beautiful Victorian architecture and stunning parks and gardens, The centre piece of which are the Jephson Garden and the refurbished Royal Pumps Rooms which house a wonderful art gallery and museum.
